Atlanta, GA (NBC) - The pastor of an Atlanta-area megachurch was arrested Friday following an altercation with his teenage daughter.
Pastor and Televangelist Creflo Dollar is charged with misdemeanor simple battery and cruelty to children.
Investigators say dollar was arguing with his 15-year-old daughter about going to a party. She claims her father choked and slapped her. The girl called authorities, and her 19-year-old sister corroborated the story.
Dollar is pastor of world changers church international, which has 30,000 members.
The church is based in college park, a suburb of Atlanta.
