Portland, OR (KGW/CNN) - A package filled with a white, powdery substance was found at the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center Tuesday.

It turned out to be harmless.

The nine employees who found the powder were temporarily put in isolation.

Fire officials say this is the latest in a rash of similar incidents around the city.

The FBI has been called in to investigate.
