Phoenix, AZ (KTVK/CNN) - A huge dust storm rolled across the Phoenix area Tuesday afternoon, as excessive heat hit the area.
The National Weather Service issued a Blowing Dust Advisory and an Excessive Heat Watch.
Winds were blowing about 30-miles-per-hour during the afternoon and the temperature was expected to hit 109-degrees.
The heat watch for the Phoenix area is in effect through Friday.
