St. Louis (KSDK) - If Todd Akin to drop out of the Senate race after the deadline, he would have to petition a court to withdraw his name and he would have to pay to reprint all of the ballots. It would also have to happen before September 25th.
After September 25th a Missouri candidate name will stay on the ballot no matter what, even if there's a death.
Political Analyst Dave Robertson talked to NewsChannel 5 Tuesday about the likelihood akin will drop out after the 5 p.m. deadline.
