Salinas, CA (KSBW) - Police in Salinas, California say they are not planning to charge a man who shot a pair of would-be robbers.
According to police, two 17-year-olds were holding the employees and customers of the Saltillo Deli and Bakery at gunpoint, demanding money.
The 'Good Samaritan' showed up to pick up a friend who works there, saw the hold-up, and took action.
He got his gun, entered the restaurant and shot the two.
They fled the scene, but showed up later at a nearby hospital.
One of them died, the other is in critical condition at last check.
