NEW ORLEANS (WGNO/CNN) - As the world waits for the announcement of a new pope, an exhibit in New Orleans celebrates a visit by Pope John Paul II more than 25 years ago.
"Portrait of Faith - John Paul II in Life and Art" opened Friday at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
The Archbishop of the Diocese of New Orleans and other members of the clergy got a sneak peek Thursday.
The exhibit features sculptures, video and photographs as well as a papal robe.
