NBC -- A Fresno, California man is in stable condition after spending several hours stuck underneath a house while trying to do some plumbing.
If it weren't for the efforts a family pet, matters could be worse for handyman Ricky Ramon.
Max the dog alerted Ramon's family to his predicament, urgently barking and running back and forth to the area where Ramon was trapped until they followed him.
The family says Max will get his own turkey leg as a treat on Thursday.
