PHOTOS: An ode to the majesty of the Nintendo Game Boy

MAKUHARI, JAPAN: A Japanese video game giant Nintendo employee displays a next generation handheld console Game Boy Advance, during a press preview at Makuhari Messe in suburban Tokyo, for the Nintendo trade show 24 August 2000. The Game Boy Console features a 32-bit CPU RISC processor and 32,000-color LCD display, which is 50 percent larger than Game Boy Color on its 140-gram small body. Nintendo will put it on the Japanese market in March 2001 with an estimated price of 9,800 yen (90 USD) and will start exports abroad July, 2001.
