PHOTOS: Past aviation mysteries

The partially reconstructed fuselage of TWA Flight 800 which crashed shortly after takeoff from JFK Airport in New York in August of 1996 is pulled out of a hangar 14 September 1999 in Calverton, NY as it is moved to a smaller hangar in order to save money. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chairman Jim Hall estimates the move will save taxpayers about USD four million per year.
