St. Louis (KSDK) -- USA TODAY Senior Sports Writer Bob Nightengale is back in St. Louis for the World Series and predicts this time the St. Louis Cardinals will lose to the Texas Rangers.  He stopped by KSDK to talk about the match-up between the Cardinals and Rangers. Below is an excerpt from the interview conducted with KSDK.

KSDK: "Bob, you're on the road a lot, getting a look at all the MLB clubs, what do you see when you look at the Rangers?"

Nightengale: "Just a powerful team all season long. They lost Cliff Lee before the season, and they've kind flown under the radar. Here they are back in the World Series.

KSDK: "Does it surprise you to see them in the World Series again?"

Nightengale: "Not really, Detroit was red hot but they (Rangers) are just a solid, solid club. They really have no weaknesses. Besides having the best lineup in baseball, they have a very strong bullpen, very strong rotation."

KSDK: "You've written a lot about Pujols over the course of the season, what do you expect from him in the series? and will he play with his injured arm?"

Nightengale: "Tough guy, (expect to see) more greatness. He was unbelievable in the NLCS. Freese was obviously better to get the MVP Award, but I expect Albert to carry that offense once again."

KSDK: "Do you expect the Cardinals offense to be hot again?"

Nightengale: "I think so, it should be a high scoring series and a lot of fun to watch. I could see a lot of 10-8, 12-9 games."

KSDK: "Lets get your prediction. You were very popular when you picked the Cardinals over the Brewers. Who are you going with this time around?"

Nightengale: "I won't be as popular this time around, I just think the Rangers are flawless and it will be very tough to beat them. I'll take the Rangers in six games, but for the Cardinals to have a chance, I think they have to win game one with Carpenter."
