St. Louis (KSDK) - There were plenty of tears Wednesday as friends learned of Shelby Dasher's arrest.
One friend told NewsChannel 5 she couldn't eat or sleep the night before, she just kept her eyes on her own young daughter.
Authorities arrested Dasher early Wednesday morning and later charged her with second degree murder.
While one friend says she is disappointed by what Shelby is accused of doing, she still loves her and supports her. Another is not so forgiving.
"If she did kill her son, I just wish she rots in jail, like if she did kill him. I wouldn't feel sorry at all," said Morgan Maher.
