St. Louis (KSDK) - A Missouri appeals court has ruled the parents of Adrienne Martin can join a wrongful death lawsuit against August Busch IV.

The 27-year-old was found dead in Busch's home last December. Authorities say she died of an overdose of the painkiller oxycodone.

Prosecutors declined to file criminal charges against Busch.

Martin's ex husband had reached a settlement in a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of the couple's 8-year-old son. That settlement was put on hold when Martin's parents filed a motion to be included in the lawsuit.
