Belleville, Ill (KSDK) -- A Centreville woman is accused of cutting another woman's face with a knife.
Belleville police said prosecutors charged Dayhris C. Maupins, 20, with aggravated battery.
The victim's friend told police the suspect came to the residence in the 7600 block of W. Main St. on November 25. The witness heard a disturbance and came out of her room to find a TV knocked over and the victim bleeding heavily from the face.
Officers came to the scene and the victim told them she had been cut with a knife.
Police said the victim's tires had also been slashed.
KSDK
