Jefferson City, MO (KSDK)- The Missouri legislature will vote this week on a controversial plan on voter identification.
The bill would require Missourians to show a government issued I.D., like a driver's license or birth certificate, to cast a ballot on Election Day.
Opponents say the measure is unconstitutional and would be unfair for seniors and disabled voters.
Supporters say the measure would ensure the integrity of Missouri elections.
Governor Nixon vetoed a similar bill last year.
