Col. Scott Scheppers surprises his daughter, Maddy.

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Maddy Scheppers was expecting her father, Air Force Colonel Scott Scheppers, home sometime this weekend.
Col. Scheppers has been serving in the military in Kabul, Afghanistan, for nine months. He is due home on leave for two weeks.
Maddy plays basketball at Washington University. And said her mother told her that her father would be home Saturday, maybe Sunday. Needless to say, Maddy was not expecting to see her dad for the first time at pre-game ceremonies of Friday night's game against Case Western Reserve University.
But that's just what happened.
And even though Maddy said she knew something was up based upon how her mom was behaving, she still cried when she greeted her dad.
Maddy Scheppers then went on to score 11 points and get 9 rebounds.
