O'Fallon, MO (KSDK) - The man killed in an accident Monday morning at Lake St. Louis Boulevard has been identified.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 57-year-old Dennis Cochran from Vincennes, Indiana died after a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu slid in front of the tractor-trailer he was driving just before 7:30 a.m.
Police say the Malibu was driving too fast for conditions and Cochran struck the rear of the car and slid off the left side of the road, hit a guardrail, and then a bridge pillar.
The Malibu slid off the right side of the road and stuck an embankment.
Cochran was pronounced dead at the scene.
KSDK
