St. Louis (KSDK) - So, what will all the predicted snow and icy conditions mean for tomorrow, Valentine's Day? Will it affect your delivery?

Hey, it's February and cold and snow are common. But still, the folks at Walter Knoll Florists on Lasalle Street say they always plan for bad weather.

Valentine's Day is the biggest day of the year for most florists.

At Walter Knoll Florist, Scott Hepper and more than 60 people are crafting floral arrangements, others are taking telephone or online orders or in person.

Others are loading and driving the delivery trucks.

So what happens if one of the 125 drivers gets stuck in the snow on Valentine's Day?

Marketing director Di Anderson also oversees the 125 drivers who will be working on Valentine's Day.

"We'll send somebody out to save them, won't we? We have plows, we have salt, we've got it all," said Anderson.

"It wouldn't be st. louis without a little snow on valentine's day. So, we've planned for it, we expect it and boy, we're just going to have to endure it and enjoy it," said owner Chuck Knoll.

Workers came in two hours early Monday and they will probably work until midnight. Then they'll be back at it, Tuesday morning.

According to the Retail Advertising and Marketing Association, the average annual Valentine's Day spending is more than $13 billion.
