St. Louis County, MO (KSDK) - Investigators with the St. Louis County Police Department have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that took place over the weekend and are hoping to locate the victim's missing husband.
According to James McWilliams, a county police spokesman, the shooting took place Saturday, March 31 around 2:10 p.m. in the 7900 block of Page Avenue. A woman walked into a business at that location and collapsed. The victim, identified as 33-year-old Jamie Fields-Arrington, was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
McWilliams said witnesses told police Fields-Arrington was arguing with a man inside of a vehicle parked outside the business.
Detectives have been trying to get in touch with Fields-Arrington's husband, 43-year-old Marion Lamont Arrington, but to no avail. Arrington's vehicle was recovered in Illinois later on March 31. He has not been declared a suspect in the case, but police are trying to locate him.
