(KUSA) -- A three-time Olympian who just made his fourth Olympic team hopes to prove at 33 he's not only kicking, but has plenty of fight left in him.
Steven Lopez has already earned a pair of gold medals. The first came in 2000 and the second in the 2004 Olympic games, but in 2008, the World Champion taekwondo star brought home bronze and didn't like it.
"Two-time Olympian, two-time Olympic gold medalist, coming back and naturally, I will win my third Olympic gold medal. That was my train of thought, but things didn't work out that way and I won the bronze and it was almost like a wake-up call, really," said Lopez.
He's doing his intense training for London in Houston. He's hoping cross-training will get him back on top.
