Des Peres, Mo (KSDK) -- One person died in a crash that slowed traffic on I-270 at Manchester Friday morning, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Al Nothum.
A spokesperson for the Missouri Department of Transportation said a driver lost control in the northbound lanes of the interstate and hit some of their equipment in the construction zone around 3:15 a.m.
The driver's car flipped and the person had to be extricated by emergency crews.
Sgt. Nothum said another car was also involved.
The accident was expected to be cleared around 7:45 a.m.
