work zone awareness week
St. Louis (KSDK) - It's National Work Zone Awareness Week, and the Missouri Department of Transportation is getting rave reviews for its efforts.
National transportation officials selected Missouri to hose Monday's kick-off because of what the state is doing to promote work zone awareness.
Besides hosting Monday's event, Missouri will host the National Work Zone Memorial. The traveling memorial pays tribute to people who've lost their lives in work zone accidents.
The memorial will be at the St. Louis Galleria Tuesday through Sunday.
