Robber strikes at US Bank on Southwest

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) -   St. Louis Police are searching for a bank robber, after a hold-up at the US Bank in the 5300 block of Southwest just after 9:30 a.m. Monday. 

Authorities say the man entered the bank near Southwest and Macklind and announced the hold-up.  He passed a note to a teller indictating he had a weapon, but never showed it.

Witnesses say the man then fled the bank to a nearby Chevrolet sedan. He was last seen southbound on Kingshighway around 9:40 a.m.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.
