St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Just imagine how hot it is for people who do not have air conditioning.

Seventy-year-old Doris Jennings has lived in St. Louis all of her life. She's seen some hot days, but none quite like the last two.

The indoor thermometer at Jennings' north St. Louis home reads 90 degrees. She's been without an air conditioner since her old AC unit stopped working last year.

On the second hottest day of the year so far, a new air conditioner is on the way, courtesy of the Urban League of Greater St. Louis.
