Tampa, FL (WFTS) -- After a five-day adventure across Florida, a bear cub was taken into custody today.
Early this morning, this black bear was spotted on the University of South Florida campus in Tampa.
It then climbed up this tree near the nearby Busch Gardens theme park.
That's when wildlife officials surrounded the bear and shot it twice with tranquilizers.
Officials had been tracking the bear since Friday.
The cub will be transported to the Apalachicola National Forest.
The animal originally came from another national forest about an hour and a half north of Tampa.
