Des Peres Chick-fil-A vandalized

Des Peres, Mo (KSDK) -- The Des Peres police is investigating a report of Chick-fil-A vandalism.

A photo sent to NewsChannel 5 Saturday afternoon shows "Don't Hate" spray painted near the drive-thru.

Police had no other information to report.

The heated debate over Chick-fil-A and same sex marriage began after the president of the company told the Baptist Press his company supports "the biblical definition of the family unit."

On Wednesday, supporters of the fastfood company held a "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day."  There were long lines reported across the country.

On Friday, same-sex marriage supporters encouraged supporters to hold a "kiss-in" and head to Chick-fil-A and lock lips with a member of the same sex.
