St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A woman was injured when an unknown shooter opened fire Saturday night on four people sitting on the front steps of a home.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. in the 3500 block of Giles.  The victim, 27, was sitting on the steps of a home with three men, ages 22, 29 and 50.

The suspect fired numerous shots at them from a gangway in the next block.

The woman was struck in the left upper chest.  The men on steps were not injured.
