St. Louis (KSDK) - A man has been arrested for the robbery of a downtown St. Louis bank.
Derrick Carpenter, a 27-year-old East St. Louis resident, has been charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery.
Police believe Carpenter robbed the Fifth Third Bank in the 900 block of Olive August 22. He was arrested August 25.
Authorities believe Carpenter is also responsible for bank robberies on February 9, April 9, and July 5 at Gateway Metro Credit Union in the 900 block of Chestnut.
Carpenter is held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
