Carrollton, IL (KSDK) - A tornado touched down in rural Greene County Friday afternoon.
The National Weather Service received a report, relayed to NewsChannel 5, that a tornado touched down at 3:30 p.m. just west of Carrollton, Illinois.
Other reports of funnel clouds and possible tornadoes have poured into the Newschannel 5 breaking news center.
In Jersey County, near Fieldon, Illinios, law enforcement reports crop, home, and tree damage due to a possible tornado around 2:30pm.
The tornado was part of the large storm formerly known as Isaac, which struck southeast Louisiana and the Gulf Coast earlier in the week.
