Bridgeton, MO (KSDK) - The beginning of the school year is exciting for most kids, but do you realize more than 90,000 students in the St. Louis area go to school without even a pencil?

NewsChannel 5's Heidi Glaus spent the day at a place that is trying to change that.

Kidsmart opened Tuesday to give school supplies to children in need.
