Todd Akin's ads disappear from Missouri airwaves

St. Louis (KSDK) -- Todd Akin's campaign ads are disappearing from Missouri airwaves.

NewsChannel 5 has learned from the NBC affiliate in Columbia that Akin's latest round of political ads are being pulled because of lack of payment.

KOMU-TV's policy is to pull political ads that are not paid in full.

At NewsChannel 5, Akin's campaign has stopped buying commercial time.  His last ad aired on Wednesday.
