Creve Coeur, MO (KSDK) - Police are investigating an accident involving a sport utility vehicle and a building that happened overnight.
Investigators responded Tuesday night around 11:20 p.m. to The Residences at King's Landing after reports of an out of control SUV colliding with the side of a building at the complex on New and Old Ballas Roads.
No injuries were reported in the collision, although damage to the vehicle was significant. The driver of the vehicle destroyed a fence after crashing into it, then slamming into the building.
One unit was damaged by the black GMC Envoy.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of DWI and driving too fast for conditions.
The building has been boarded up by the Kings Landing maintenance crew.
A Creve Coeur building inspector checked for structural damage, but none was found.
