JACKSON, Mo. (AP/KSDK) - A southeastern Missouri man will stand trial next fall on charges of murdering his estranged wife, who has been missing since June 2011. 

KFVS-TV reports a judge in Cape Girardeau County on Monday scheduled Clay Waller's trial to begin September 9, 2013.  Waller, from Jackson, will be tried on charges of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.

Thirty-nine-year-old Jacque Waller disappeared June 1, 2011, shortly after the couple met with a divorce lawyer. Her body has never been found, and the couple's 7-year-old triplets are living with her sister.

Both sides agreed Monday to have a jury brought in from central Missouri's Cole County to try the case, which has received extensive publicity.

Clay Waller is already serving a federal prison sentence for threatening his wife's sister on the Internet.
