St. Louis (KSDK) - Seven-year old Alex Onkle has one dream in life, and it came true Friday.

He dreamed of riding on a fire truck, and Friday afternoon Lemay Firefighters Local 2677 made it happen.

Alex, who's battling inoperable brain cancer, was also made an honorary firefighter. That means hanging out at the fire station with his new best buddies, and even checking to make sure the fire hoses work properly.
