St. Louis (KSDK) -- With Black Friday now behind us, we look forward to Cyber Monday, the biggest online shopping day of the year.  So, how to you click and save when you'll spend most of the day at the office?  Buyers beware, some bosses say it's okay, and some say, no way.

They came out in droves all weekend, and while shoppers have already paid a pretty penny for their wares, what's on the web will still have them spending.

"I do not do the shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving, but I got into the internet about two to three years ago," said Patrice Story of Edwardsville.

"The convenience, the shipping is free...and a lot of times, they'll have what some of the stores won't."

We were talking about a vacation coming up next spring and looking at some hotel deals online," said Steve Butcher of Stockton.

A quick search shows that Monday many travel sites will give you 30, 40, even 50% off.  Experts warn, though, about terms and conditions like blackout dates and two- or three-night minimums.

But Butcher and Story beg the bigger question about Cyber Monday.

"I wonder how much money will be lost in productivity," he said.

"I don't think you should take off the time from completing a task to do something that's optional and fun," she added.

But get this: last year, 60% of companies blocked employee access to online shopping sites.  According to The Christian Science Monitor, this year, that number was cut in half.

"I suppose the economy could certainly use a shot in the arm, so if it turns out better for the economy, maybe that's a good thing," Butcher went on to say.

By the way, experts report that video games, computers, toys and even clothing are Cyber Monday's best buys.
