(KSDK Sports) -- The Saint Louis Billikens continue their road trip today, paying a visit to St. Bonaventure, a team coming off two straight A-10 matchups on the road.
Saint Louis (13-5) had a great month of December as they went 7-0. The Billikens won their Atlantic-10 opener over UMass 70-62, but then dropped 2 straight losses to Temple and Rhode Island.
Saint Louis bounced back last game as they beat Duquesne 73-64 on the road. There was 17 lead changes in the game as the Billikens sparked a 14-1 run to close out the game. St. Louis struggled from 3-point range as they went 3-12 from downtown.
The Billikens won the rebounding battle 35-32, and forced the Dukes to commit 16 turnovers on 12 steals. Cody Ellis scored 16 points off the bench, as four players topped double figures for the Billkens. Saint Louis averages 66.7 points, 32 rebounds, and 13.2 assist while shooting 44 percent from the field.
St. Bonaventure (9-9) has managed to pull off two impressive road victories over conference opponents with wins over Temple and St. Joseph's.
The Bonnies, who are .500% this season with a record of 9-9, have recently turned things around after losing 6 straight. St. Bonaventure defeated St. Joes last game 73-64, as they took an early lead and led by almost 20 points at halftime.
