ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Police are investigating an overnight stabbing.

Authorities were called to N. Second and Morgan streets shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

A 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were arguing when the 34-year-old man pushed and punched the other man.

Police say during the fight the 33-year-old man pulled out a knife and stabbed the 34-year-old man in the abdomen.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

The suspect's name has not been released.
