ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Slick roads are to blame for an accident Monday morning involving a St. Louis police officer.
Authorities say black ice is to blame for the accident, which happened just after midnight as an officer was responding to a robbery in Midtown.
The police cruiser hit a patch of ice in the 4000 block of Russell, lost control, and slammed into a median.
The female officer was not hurt, and the robbery suspect is still at large.
