Belleville, Ill. (KSDK) - Investigators in Belleville say a baby girl was found near the body of a 19-year-old man who died of a possible overdose.
It happened Thursday in the 300 block of North 10th Street.
The 6-month-old baby girl was found near the body of the man in a second-story apartment. Neighbors say the man lived there with his girlfriend.
Investigators say the man was found dead after someone called 911 to report a possible overdose.
The six-month-old baby girl was turned over to relatives. Investigators say toxicology testing will help determine the man's exact cause of death.
