JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KSDK) - State Treasurer Clint Zweifel says since the beginning of January he has returned more than $1.4 million to five owners.
There is still nearly $700 million in unclaimed property for more than 4.3 million owners. Sixty-four of those accounts are worth $100,000 or more.
Zweifel has returned more than $140 million in to over 450,000 owners since January 2009.
