COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KSDK)-- Firefighters in Collinsville pulled an unconscious man from a burning apartment.
The man regained consciousness and was talking before he was transported to a hospital. His current condition is unknown.
The apartment building located at 722 North Seminary Street, has four units. Only one apartment was damaged in the fire.
The Colllinsville Fire Department received the call around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Fire Chief Mark Emert says the fire started in the kitchen of the apartment. He believes something was left cooking on the stove.
