St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The National Hockey League has announced the St. Louis Blues' schedule for the first four games of their playoff match-up against the Los Angeles Kings.
The Blues will face off against the Kings at Scottrade Center for games one and two. Games three and four will take place in Los Angeles. The remaining three games will alternate from St. Louis to Los Angeles and back to St. Louis for a seventh game if necessary.
The eighth-seeded Los Angeles Kings defeated the top-seeded Vancouver Canucks in the opening round of the NHL Playoffs.
This will be the third time in franchise history that St. Louis and Los Angeles will face one another.
The last time the franchises met in the postseason, the Blues swept the Kings in the 1998 Western Conference Quarterfinal. The Blues also swept the Kings four games to none in the 1969 League Semifinal.
The dates of the best-of-seven series are outlined below:
Game 1 - Saturday, April 28 at St. Louis
Game 2 - Monday, April 30 at St. Louis
Game 3 - Thursday, May 3 at Los Angeles
Game 4 - Sunday, May 6 at Los Angeles
