St. Louis (KSDK) - The St. Louis Rams and the Convention and Visitors Commission are millions of dollars apart on their proposals to upgrade the Edward Jones Dome.

The CVC has until June 1 to accept or reject the Rams' estimated $700 million plan.

The Rams want a sliding roof, additional seating, and more windows to add additional natural light.

"We've been consistent in our vision for St. Louis, which is a first tier facility and host Super Bowls and Final Fours, global sporting events, political national conventions, and Rams games. And if we can get that facility it will be great for St. Louis not just for us," said Rams Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff.

If the two sides cannot agree on the upgrades the issue will go to arbitration.

The deadline s June 15.
