St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina departed Sunday's game in the bottom of the fifth inning due to dizziness.

With the count 2-1, Molina appeared to call for time, then step out of the batters box. He was attended by team personnel, then left for good.

Tony Cruz finished the at-bat and took over behind the plate for the top of the sixth.

Game-time temperatures in the region are expected to reach the mid-90s.
