LONDON (KSDK) -- The USA women's soccer team scored a big win a the Olympics Thursday.
St. Louis native Becky Sauerbrunn helped lead Team USA in their 2-1 victory over Japan.
Sauerbrunn was a high school All-American at Ladue High School, and an All-American at the University of Virginia.
When Team USA earned redemption for last year's world cup loss to Japan with Thursday's gold medal victory, Sauerbrunn says it was a great moment.
