Antalya, Turkey (Sports Network) - The United States completed the second
round at 20-under-par 266 on Saturday to maintain its lead in the World
Amateur Team Championship, which has been reduced to 54 holes.
On Friday, only 48 of 72 teams began second-round play after the start was
delayed six hours by dangerous weather conditions. Six teams eventually
completed their rounds before play was called for the day due to darkness.
The Unites States, which finished just three holes on Friday, completed
second-round play at the par-71 Antalya Golf Club on Saturday and moved to 20-
under.
The Republic of Korea sits in second place at 14-under 272, while Canada and
Mexico are tied for third at 12-under 274.
The third round of this tournament, which was originally scheduled for 72
holes, will continue Saturday.
