Bobby Petrino will be named head coach at Western Kentucky at a 4 p.m. press conference, a person with knowledge of the matter confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.

Petrino was fired at Arkansas on April 10 for failing to disclose the nature of his romantic relationship with Jessica Dorrell, an athletic department employee whom he had hired to a position in the football office. Days earlier, he had been in a motorcycle accident with Dorrell but told athletic director Jeff Long he was alone.

Petrino is 75-26 as a college head coach, but the fact that he landed at a Sun Belt program shows how damaging the incident was to his reputation. Western Kentucky lost Willie Taggart to South Florida last weekend.
