(KSDK Sports) -- Former Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo is once again out of a job.  Spagnuolo had joined the New Orleans Saints after losing his job in St. Louis.  But today the Saints announced that he and secondary coach Ken Flajole have been relieved of their duties.

According to the Saints website, recently re-instated head coach Sean Payton said the Saints will be changing to a 3-4 alignment on defense next season.

"I personally want to thank Steve and Ken for their contributions during what was an unprecedented 2012 season," Saints coach Sean Payton said. "Philosophically we are changing our defense to a 3-4 alignment and right now is the best time to accomplish this transition."
