Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Sports Network) - French Open runner-up Sara Errani and former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova booked spots in Saturday's lucrative final at the $2 million Dubai Tennis Championships.

The fifth-seeded Errani handled good friend and doubles partner Roberta Vinci 6-3, 6-3 in Friday's semifinal action on the hardcourts at Dubai Tennis Stadium.

Errani is now 5-2 lifetime against her fellow Italian Vinci, including wins now in their last five meetings. The two women currently own three of the four Grand Slam doubles titles.

Meanwhile, a sixth-seeded Kvitova cruised past eighth-seeded former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki 6-3, 6-4. The Danish Wozniacki was the Dubai titlist just two years ago.

The left-handed Czech Kvitova is now 4-3 lifetime against the former U.S. Open runner-up Wozniacki, including wins in their last four meetings.

The 25-year-old Errani will appear in her second final of the year, having recently finished as a runner-up at an event in Paris. She is 6-5 in her career WTA finals, which includes four titles last year.

The 22-year-old Kvitova is a solid 9-2 in her career finals, which included a whopping six titles in 2011, the year she captured Wimbledon.

Kvitova is 3-0 lifetime against Errani -- all on hardcourts.

Saturday's big winner will collect $442,198.
