Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Toronto FC announced Friday that it has secured
a loan deal for promising Tottenham midfielder John Bostock.
Bostock began his youth career at Crystal Palace before making the switch to
Spurs ahead of the 2008-09 season. The 21-year-old has found playing time at
White Hart Lane hard to come by and has most recently spent time on loan at
Swindon Town of England's League One.
"I know John from our time at Tottenham and we are very excited to have him in
Toronto," said Toronto FC Head Coach Ryan Nelsen. "He is a creative player and
he will fit in well with the club."
Bostock will be officially added to Toronto's roster and eligible for
selection upon receipt of his International Transfer Clearance (ITC).
