(KSDK Sports) -- Kwamain Mitchell's college basketball career is not quite finished. Today the university announced that Mitchell has been selected to play in the 2013 Reese's College All-Star Game, as announced today by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
The All-Star game is set for Friday, April 5, at 4 p.m. (CT) during Final Four festivities at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Each roster is composed of 11 senior NCAA Division I men's basketball student-athletes. Mitchell will play with the West All-Stars, a team that also features fellow A-10 players Troy Daniels (VCU) and Ramon Galloway (La Salle). Complete rosters of both squads are attached.
Mitchell helped the 2012-13 Billikens to a school-record 28 victories, regular-season and tournament Atlantic 10 Conference titles and their second straight NCAA Tournament bid. He scored 10.6 points per game and averaged 3.1 assists per game while drawing third-team All-Conference plaudits.
Mitchell ends his career seventh on SLU's all-time scoring list with 1,575 points. In addition, he is third on the career steals list with 172 and third with 420 career assists.
